Joshua – Status Update

April 6, 2026

On my way into the office, I was able to check in with Joshua. The hope was I would be there when they extubated Joshua. Sadly, there was a missing cough assist machine, so the extubation was delayed until the proper machine could be found. After checking in with Joshua and then Natalie, and talking with their on-sight doctor, I headed to work. I am very anxious to get word from Sue that the tube has been removed.

Joshua provided us some excitement of his own today. Joshua was officially etubated. It took quite a while to happen, but when it did, it occurred in a nice, straight forward, uneventful fashion.
