Joshua – Status Update

We arrived this morning to see Joshua watching the Disney movie Elemental. He was relaxed and comfortable. He is still on the breathing tube. His oxygen input remains low (30%) and he is in an 'assistive' mode on the ventilator so he is driving his breaths, to a degree.

When we spoke with Joshua's nurse, we heard he had some challenges overnight. His oxygen saturation dropped and they had to cough assist him to clear out his lungs. Because of that incident, we are playing by ear the potential extubation.
