Joshua – Status Update
April 13, 2026
Today Joshua received his Tracheotomy. He left his room with a tube going through his mouth into his chest. He came back with a trach in his neck. Joshua was nervous going into the surgery. Sue and I made a point to be there before and after the surgery so Joshua would know he wasn't alone.
After the surgery, Joshua was quick to recover from his sedation. It was nice to be able to communicate with Joshua so soon after the surgery. It was nice to be able to pray with him and remind him he is never alone.
